Spring lambs in Lairg

For Easter weekend  Mum, the Mini and I went on an adventure northwest to visit my sister in her croft near Lairg. The house is surrounded by fields full of new-born lambs... boy, are they a chatty bunch... what a racket! Between them and the birds in the garden its not quite the peaceful spot you might imagine!

There are lovely walks in the forests and hills in the area where the dogs hunt for deer to chase and moors full of amazing lichens and mosses, there's the Falls of Shin nearby with its very own branch of Harrods in the Visitor Centre (estate owned by Mr Fayed) and half an hour away on the east coast, the golden sands of Dornoch and the North Sea.
